Join AFI-RentalsĀ as a Powered Access TraineeĀ and start your journey into the world of truck-mounted platformsĀ and specialist access machinery.
Youāll receive full training to carry out Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDIs)Ā on MEWPs, trucks, and tracked machines, while learning to operate our impressive range of truck mounts.
Alongside this, weāll support you through your HGV Class 2 trainingĀ and help you progress into a full Driving & Operating roleĀ at one of our branches.
About the Roleš§ What Youāll Be Doing:
ā Carrying out Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDIs)Ā on MEWPs, trucks, and tracked access machines
ā Operating truck-mounted platformsĀ at customer sites (full IPAF training provided)
ā Supporting the engineering and operations teams across the branch
ā Learning all aspects of powered access operation and transport
ā Working toward your HGV Class 2 licenceĀ and future operator position

ā Mechanically mindedĀ with attention to detail
ā Full UK driving licenceĀ (required)
ā IPAF or CSCS certification
ā Experience with plant or access machinery
ā Background in logistics, mechanical, or engineering work
