Location: Witham
Pay: £12.85ph, rising to over £14ph once permanent

We are currently recruiting for Factory Operatives to join a busy manufacturing company based in Witham. This is a long-term opportunity offering full-time hours and the chance to secure a permanent position with increased pay rates.

This role will involve working within a manufacturing and production environment, so previous factory or manufacturing experience is essential.

Duties of the Factory Operative will include:

• Preparing products for the production process
• Working on production lines and within the factory environment
• Operating machinery and manufacturing equipment
• Using overhead cranes and forklifts where required (training provided)
• Loading, unloading and moving products safely around the factory
• Carrying out quality checks on finished products
• Keeping working areas clean, safe and organised
• Following all production procedures and health & safety guidelines
• Supporting other departments when required

The ideal Factory Operative candidate will have:

• Previous manufacturing, production or factory experience
• A good attitude towards work and willingness to learn
• Experience working within a fast-paced environment
• The ability to carry out physical work and manual handling duties
• Good teamwork and communication skills
• A strong awareness of health & safety within a factory environment

Hours:

Week 1:
06:00 - 14:00 Monday to Friday

Week 2:
14:00 - 22:00 Monday to Friday
