About the Role
We are looking for a proactive and highly organised Logistics Coordinator to join our night operations team based in Redditch.
This is a key role within a fast-paced logistics environment, ensuring the smooth coordination and tracking of shipments while delivering exceptional customer service around the clock. Working nights, you will liaise with customers, suppliers, and carriers globally, helping to maintain service continuity and operational efficiency.
The ideal candidate will thrive under pressure, be able to work independently, and have excellent communication and organisational skills.
Key Responsibilities
Track and monitor shipments to ensure timely delivery
Organise and coordinate transport operations
Manage customer enquiries professionally and efficiently
Liaise with carriers, suppliers, and subcontractors
Complete accurate job updates and administrative tasks
Update KPIs and operational records
Ensure continuity of service throughout the night operation
Communicate effectively with day shift teams to ensure smooth handovers
Support issue resolution and continuous improvement activities
About You

Has previous experience in a similar logistics or transport coordination role
Can work confidently in a lone-working environment
Is highly organised with strong attention to detail
Remains calm and focused in a fast-paced environment

Skills & Experience
Essential
- Proven experience in a logistics, transport, or coordination role
- Strong geographical knowledge of the UK
- Good level of English and Maths
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong IT skills including Microsoft Office, email, spreadsheets, and transport databases
- Ability to multitask and prioritise workload effectively
- Methodical and thorough approach to work
