We are seeking experienced and professional Class 1 (C+E) HGV Drivers for long-haul overnight tramping work across the UK. This role involves nationwide deliveries, overnight stays in the vehicle, and flexible working hours.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out long-distance Class 1 deliveries and collections safely and efficiently
- Ensure compliance with all DVSA, tachograph, and Working Time regulations
- Complete vehicle checks and maintain accurate delivery paperwork
- Plan routes effectively and communicate professionally with transport teams and customers
- Take required legal rest breaks before commencing driving hours as normal
Job Details
- Nationwide long-haul and overnight tramping work
- Overnight allowance: £30 per night for sleeping in the vehicle
- Flexible start times and extended driving routes
- Regular nights out required
Requirements
- Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) Licence
- Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Good understanding of drivers’ hours and road transport regulations
- Reliable, flexible, and safety-focused attitude
- Previous long-haul/tramping experience preferred
